Elders Quorum Gun/Rifle shooting activity - May 12th.‏

Announcement for the May ward Elders Quorum Event.

Elders,
We have an activity planned for Saturday, May 12th. Some of you have heard a little about this in our elders quorum meetings, and can help spread the enthusiasm to anyone who has not yet heard. Here are the details -
Jon Kercher and Steve Jones have organized this activity to coincide with a public rifle/gun/ammo demonstration activity that, according to Jon, will have every firearm under the sun available for you to try out. This is a public event, and as such we won't be the only ones participating. The quorum will provide some food and drinks during the event, but based on your shooting appetite, you may want to bring some additional money that would pay for the amount of firearms you would like to experience first-hand (sorry, the ammo isn't free).
This is meant for everyone in the quorum - gun lovers and gun non-lovers alike. So please plan on participating, and having fun with everyone in the quorum.
The plan is for us to meet at the church at 2:00 on Saturday the 12th, and carpool to this event together (it is located in west St. Charles County).
So, to summarize -
Gun-totin' and shootin' (but not hog tyin') activity -
Saturday May 12th
2:00 pm at the church (carpool)
Please contact Jon Kercher or Steve Jones for more information, or speak with a member of the Elders Quorum presidency.
Thanks,
Bro. Hale
