Painting Service this Saturday - Reminder/Addendum
_________________
Elders,
It was announced yesterday that the elders quorum is going to tackle some service this coming Saturday on behalf of Sister Beth Perkins-Jones. She needs some painting done on her home and we're going to do what we can to help out. While Sister Perkins-Jones will be providing the paint, what she needs from us is extension ladders, paint brushes, paint containers (something to distribute paint to each painter in), work clothes, and enthusiasm and energy to get the project done.
Also, another item that would be handy to bring is a scraper - either a paint scraper, or a puddy knife - something to get some of the old paint off.
We'll be painting trim below the roofline of her house, and possibly the eaves under the roof edge.
When - Saturday, May 3rd, at 8:00 am
Where - 1602 Elizabeth Ellen Ct., St. Peters, 63376
What to bring - Extension ladders, other ladders, step stools, etc., Paint Brushes, Paint Containers, Paint Rags.
If you have questions, please contact a member of the Elders Quorum Presidency. If you need to call the Perkins-Jones household on Saturday, Sister Perkins-Jones' number is 922-xxxx.
"And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn awisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the bservice of your cfellow beings ye are only in the service of your God."
We don't have too many opportunities to provide service like this, and I hope that each of us can help out in one way or another. If you can plan on being there, an RSVP would be great!
Thanks,
Jonathan Hale
